What is web usability? On the importance of not thinking.
What is promised is debt. For all those who are not familiar with the term web usability I will tell you that it is an expression that is present in countless web pages for which you navigate daily.
The web usability aims to design web sites (all the pages that you browse for information) for people like you and me can interact with the easiest, most comfortable and intuitive as possible.
The web usability pursues at all times that the users, that is, the people who surf through internet pages find with the minimum effort what they are looking for , that is, they find what they want without thinking, without hardly entering into conflict, without hardly doubt.
Web usability would be present, for example, in:
Forms of subscription to a blog.
Buttons to buy a product.
Links to other pages.
Tabs of different categories or articles.
A website is good when it's ...
Useful : the user finds what he wants.
User-friendly : browsing the page is very simple and does not require any technical knowledge.
Desirable : the page is attractive to the user without being complicated.
Accessible : anyone should be able to find what they want regardless of their level of knowledge.
Credible : the user experiences a high degree of confidence.
Valuable : the information you get is valuable enough to continue navigating other pages of the same site or to return another time.
